Spun bamboo is made from bamboo poles that are cut into long strips, and only the inner heart bamboo (between the outer skin and harder core) is used to craft these large vases. Heart bamboo is lightweight, so don’t expect this vase to be heavy. If you have If you have carpeting, pets, or children, you must use weight bags inside vase for it to be stable on carpet. Use sand or small pebbles in zip lock bags to weight vase.
